The Android SDK will also support new administrative policies designed to manage and ensure the deployment of tablets in companies such as encrypted storage and password expiration.

Xavier Ducrohet, chief of staff of Android SDK, announced this news in a blog, adding that “we will launch the final version of the SDK in the coming weeks so you can develop and publish applications for Android 3.0.”

Android 3.0 is known as Honeycomb and user interface have a “holographic” as well as other new features. From the point of view of developers, offering tools to create new applications for devices with larger screens, and to adapt existing applications to the new user interface. Google has shown a preview of what the development kit (SDK) for Android 3.0, which is designed specifically for mobile devices with large screens, especially tablets.

This previews the SDK, developers can start testing their existing applications and it can be viewed on a tablet and experience the new features of Android version 3.0.
