ipad 2The launch of new iPad is increasingly imminent and everything suggests that the new edition of the Apple Tablet will provide greater connectivity, the ability to manage external storage.

To ensure this whole series of deployment applications to multitask as well as enhance the graphics section, the iPad 2 need to have a more powerful processor core. Rumors suggest that the new chip include A5, the successor A4 CPU based on ARM Cortex-A8. Thus, the core would consist of two processors Cortex-A9 with a pair of PowerVR graphics cores SGX543. The current IPAD model has a single graphics core, SGX535 PowerGV model. The new addition would provide the necessary features to support OpenCL.

Some Mac rumors on web as point to allow the display of electronic books with higher resolution screen, type 2,048 x 1,536 pixels. This indicates that the iPad 2 which would have a screen pixel density four times higher than its predecessor. However, according to the order indicated, the new screen size would increase to 12 inches, with an area of 216 ppi, and the screen dimensions of 280 x 220 mm in order to meet the specifications. The current iPad boasts 9.7-inch screen and features dimensions of 240 x 190 mm.

In addition, we have filtered the manufacture of certain cases for the new iPad, which reveal the presence of new connectors, featuring a slot for SD cards, and other powerful mini Display Port to display large format flat screens.

Hopefully Apple work hard to optimize the components power consumption, so that many features do not end up taking its toll on autonomy end of the IPad. The inclusion of dual-core processor is expected, if we take into account that many of the new Smartphone that are presented throughout this year will already have this type of implementation to improve its possibilities.
