The Jailbreak comes from 2 words in English Jail that means jail Break that means break, in simple words Jailbreak means escape from prison, and the world iPhone, iPod e iPad the Jailbreak is the process that allows us to access all files and folders on the iPhone or iPod Touch. With this access we can install third party applications change those which are and other things more.

Jailbreak: This concept refers to a process which allows access to all parts of the iPhone without any limit imposed by Apple, doing the jailbreak can change the look of the iPhone, not allowed to install applications or downloaded free of Internet and put as many modifications as we can think or as it is from and cydia or icy.

Release: This concept refers to the removal of the blockade imposed by Apple and a phone company (Telcel, Movistar or there where you are) with a terminal that can prevent use in another company other than that agreed.
