CanoScan 9000F film scanner

Canon has announced a new film and document scanner, the CanoScan 9000F, for use in photographic applications.
The new CanoScan 9000F uses a CCD sensor of 9600 x 9600 dpi and offers a color depth of 48 bits. In addition, Canon improved speed in relation to 8800F, which it replaces.
Thus in the 9000F uses a new film adapter allows more light to penetrate and get to scan a negative frame of 35 mm in about 18 seconds (at a resolution of 1200 dpi).
The CanoScan 9000F can digitizing slides mounted and medium format film (positive or negative). It also has automatic scanning modes to send the output to a PC, by email, or generate a PDF, is one touch of a button. The scanner also has application in office applications, for which includes an optical character recognition (OCR).
When it is scanning film, one of the most common problems is clean of dust and scratches. This technology incorporates Canon FARE (Improvement and automatic film retouching) Level 3, based on the capture infrared light. It also includes Auto Photo Fix II to correct the tones of the photos, and Fix Auto Document performing advanced image analysis to correct the data automatic area by area.
Along with the CanoScan 9000F is delivered licenses Adobe Photoshop Elements, ArcSoft PhotoStudio, Silverfast SE MP Navigator EX.
