Google is preparing to launch its own netbook
From the start, Google’s strategy for Android has been left to third parties to manufacture the hardware. However, the situation changes with the One phone Nexus and the same could happen with any Google netbooks.
The publication refers to unofficial information, according to which Google is talking with various hardware fabricnates in order to entrust a netbook to their own specifications.
As happens with the phone Nexus One, whose production has been commissioned to HTC, the new trend of Google will take greater control of the hardware.
Michael Arrington of TechCrunch indicates that Google will incorporate a netbook CPU ARM (not Intel Atom, like most netbooks today).
Rumors also indicate that the netbook will be subsidized by distributors, and incorporating a 3G modem.
Next year also expected based netbooks Chrome OS, manufacturers Asus, HP, Lenovo and Toshiba.
