Shuttle has introduced an update to its barebones, incorporating the new Intel platform mini PC Sandy Bridge.

The new barebones (mini PCs essentially empty inside that allows extensive configuration options by users) Shuttle will jump in processing power thanks to support for the new Intel Core Platform Intel Sandy Bridge, versions i3, i5 and i7.

The new company’s XPC series consists of two products, and SH67H7 SH67H3, both with a similar configuration options but its appearance is different. Is based on the Intel H67 Express and its basic structure is the inclusion of 4 USB 3.0 ports and 4 additional USB 2.0 ports and connectors combined eSATA / USB.

In terms of its internal components, these mini PC support two 3.5-inch hard drives and one 5.25-inch, it can be connected to the two SATA ports of 6 Gbit / s and two SATA 3 Gbit / s available. Both support up to 16 GB of RAM, divided into 4 slots.

Graphics are provided by the internal controller and processor features HDMI and DVI-I. There is also a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 supports dual-slot graphics cards.

The Shuttle XPC Barebone SH67H3 will be priced at 282 euros, while the XPC Barebone SH67H7 cost 296 euros.
