After the first security packages offered by Microsoft named Windows Live One Care before are failed to attract customers; the marketing is not continued. Looking to such problem; Microsoft has launched the Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) that is hoped it can make a deal to create the new great protection from viruses, Trojans, rookits and spyware. So that it can be a good change from the failure before.

The MSE is available free to be downloaded in the Microsoft site. It is hoped can be more popular for it can automatically updated after the first download by the customers. The existence of the MSE, however, is still doubted by the rivals; whether it can well win the market and workable competition between other anti-virus players or not. A security firm Symantec said that it is still lack of the common needs of consumers that nowadays need more about firewall protection, anti-spam protection, web protection and identity safeguards.

A security firm AVG also said that Microsoft has to make perfect the security so that it can automatically diagnose the problems and infections in the computer then well make it recover.
